DamSafe of Oregon State University is a free App to enhance user’s safety while they move around campus.  You can alert your friends to be a virtual companion and follow your progress through the “Track Me” feature.  When you safely arrive at your destination, you then stop the virtual tracking.

 

The App’s red Alert Button allows users to alert designated guardians with their exact location in case of emergencies by tapping the app icon. It also provides one-button calling to campus Public Safety.

  1. Download and install the App.

  1. Have your Contact(s) download the app also
  2. Press the Red OSU Emergency bar to access the Alert screen

      

  1. Create your Profile

  1. Add the Contacts that you would like to receive your notifications.
    • The App can be customized to temporarily inactivate some contacts if you don’t want them to receive notifications.

  1.  You and your Contacts can now start using the App
