The Department of Public Safety is seeking an Associate Vice President of Public Safety and Chief of Police. This is a full-time (1.00 FTE), 12-month, Department of Public Safety professional position.
As a senior leader within Oregon State University’s Division of Finance and Administration, the Associate Vice President of Public Safety and Chief of Police (AVP/Chief) provides visionary leadership for a comprehensive, equity-centered public safety strategy that supports OSU’s mission as a premier world-class land-grant institution. The AVP/Chief leads the Department of Public Safety (DPS) and the licensed law enforcement function, ensuring safety, trust, transparency, accountability, and community partnership across all Oregon State University locations.
